Copy Slide from one *.ppt to another *.ppt

Using Office/Powerpoint 2003 in Win XP Pro:

We have multiple copies of a slide presentation with different people
creating certain slides.

How do you copy the slides from individual presentations into one? Also, I
have been trying to open multiple instances of powerpoint but cannot.

Can someone assist with a solution?

Thanks in advance.

You can copy and paste but it is probably better to use INSERT > Slides from
files

Ctrl click to select the slides to insert or use insert all. Tick "Retain
source format" if (that's what you want).

Two instances of PowerPoint? - there's no legit way to do this. For a trick
that sometime works see:

If you just need two side by side windows though open two presentations and
WINDOW > Arrange all

Thanks for your help with this John, sharing this with others on the project
really helped. Several had been using copy and paste for years and had never
known about the insert which when retaining the source formatting makes the
process a breeze.
