Importing emails into Exchange mailboxes

I am installing an Exchange 2007 server for a small company (~120
employees). We currently use Godaddy for our email and we either
access it through Godaddy's webmail portal or downloading the messages
into Outlook 2003 via POP3. I am trying to figure out if there is a
way I can upload the emails saved in PST's on the people who use
Outlooks laptops up into their mailbox once on the Exchange server.
Not everyone uses Outlook so the only place their emails are located
is on Godaddy's servers. I don't think Godaddy is going to give me
their mail files so I need to see if there is a way around this. Do I
have to download them into PST's and then upload to their new
mailboxes? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
Joe

Yes, that is the way. The mails are impossible to import directly from
GoDaddy. Once you have them in a pst-file you can automate the import
process via a Powershell command.

Another way to go would be to have them configure Outlook with the Exchange
account as the default delivery location and then configure the GoDaddy
account as well. Mails will be directly downloaded into the Exchange mailbox
then.
