Importing Distribution List from a CSV file?

TechNet:

I’m migrating user form another mail client and I would like to create a CSV
file to import into outlook but I not found away to import DL into outlook.
How do I create DL from a CSV file?

Outlook version 2007 or 2003

TechNet?
Why did you call other Outlook end users in a newsgroup TechNet? Should we
feel flattered?
We are not TechNet, but even we know that you cannot import directly into a
DL in Outlook. Most Outlook users know better than even to use DL's. You can
only import a CSV file into a Contacts Folder. Knock yourself out with that.

Yeah, right. That is not importing from a CSV file. This method only works
if the addresses are in Outlook's idea of a proper format. They rarely are.

Sure.
1.Open a new DL form
2.Click on Select Members
3.Click in the Members field (at the bottom)
4.Paste (Ctrl+V) the addresses

He asked:
and pasting the list into the members field will work. A CSV (comma
separated file) containing email addresses for use in a DL has limited
formats and it can be easily changed in Excel if necessary.

The Red Sox come to Cleveland today. I hope you're nicer to them than you
were the Yankees.
