Import contacts from csv to Global Distribution List (DL)

I know that you can import contacts from csv to local DL. Is it possilbe to
import csv contacts to a globlal DL? The global DL is need due the # of
contacts (875+). Thank you in advance for your help!

Really better suited to microsoft.public.exchange.admin, but take a look
