Importing DBX files into Outlook Express

I am attempting to import outlook messages into outlook express v6,
follow the prompts under import mail messages, browse to th
identities folder, pick the relevant identity, yet I keep gettin
this message "No Messages can be found in this folder or anothe
application is running that has the required files open. Pleas
select another folder or try closing application that may have th
files open." I have checked read only, the *.dbx files are on my HDD
Any ideas - Bot

Is MS Outlook also installed on the machine running OE6, and is it using the
PST file you wish to import? If not, it won't work. OE cannot import OL
data without OL running on the machine and using the data.
