Importing data from access

I'm importing a list of several hundred contact details from an access
database. I have mapped the fileds, so the email address goes into the email
field, etc.
All the details transer across ok, except the email field.
In access it's set as a hyperlink field.
When it gets to outlook it is now
[email protected]#http://[email protected]
Anybody know why?
Other than spending a few days changing them all, have I missed something
obvious?
