Import Video not creating Clips

Hi, I'm using a digital Sony camcorder and importing clips. Using Start/Stop
capture and checked the "create clips" box, but when I click "Finish", MM
does not create individual clips where I started/stopped....it puts all into
one clip. I'm using USB.
When I use another computer (at home) using Firewire, it works just fine.
Can I assume it's the USB or do you think it might be something else? (don't
have a firewire on the other computer)

OOOPS>..I'm using composite, not USB. Is that a problem with saving clips?

Thanks Chicago Sue (assuming that)...

I wish I was as confident as you in some of my posts... I have a section
about auto clip detection on the Importing Source Files > Video > Intro page
of my site, but trying it is often the best way to tell if it'll work. In
cases where it doesn't auto-detect, I assume it's normal and not doing
something wrong.
