Importing video into MM

When I import video into MM, i'm not able view the entire video clip. Is
there a limitation in MM for the amount of video you're able to import at one
time? When I place it on the MM timeline. My video clip does not show in
it's entirety. If I play the same video clip on Windows Media player, it
works fine and I'm able to see the entire video clip. Can someone please
help?
