Import text file problem

I am trying to import a very large text file that has a
vertical line as a delimiter. Is there any way to import
this file? Any help is appreciated
 
Hi Dale,

To specify the pipe character as delimiter, just type it into the
"Other" field in the second page of the text import wizard.

If that doesn't solve the problem, post back with detail of what you're
doing and what error messages you get.
