I have an Outlook .pst file from an earlier computer which I want to
import into a newly installed Outlook 2007. The system informs me:
"File access is denied. You do not have the permission required to
access the file."

How can I get around this ?

How can I get around this ?

Where is the file currently located and how did you move it to this
computer? If you moved it via a CD/DVD, make sure you remove the read-only
attribute after moving it to your hard drive.

Also, don't actually use the Import functionality, just open the pst and
drag/drop the items you want.
