imation 1 gb pendrive issue

i have a imation 1gb pendrive i doesnt work or get detected on my acer 3620 laptop or does the light on the pendrive lit up
 
Try it out in all your usb ports and also on a different pc . if no light then it sounds like a duffer .

If ya got XP, then it should self install- that will take a few seconds
