Hi all,
I can not get my IMAPI cd-burning com service to work. It does not
matter if I set it to automatic or manual and then set it to start, as it
always goes back to stopped. How can I fix this? Thanks, Monty

Hmm... Doesn't that only run when needed? How can you fix it? Use a third
party burning solution. Chances are your burner or PC came with one but if
not then take a gander at http://www.snapfiles.com for a freeware choice
that has been scanned for malware, etc...

Hi, my pc came with Roxio. That works fine. I prefer to right on my data and
copy to cd. For some reason the cd burning service reverts to stopped.
Thanks

It could well be something Roxio's done to the system. It wouldn't surprise
me. I'd almost say taking a look at the upperfilters and lowerfilters but
the symptoms don't quite match. I'd expect it's Roxio's doing and suggest
looking there for additional information.

I don't think it's fair to blame Roxio for this one - whenever I use Roxio
to burn, it starts then immediately stops saying that the drive is reserved
for another app and that it doesn't see any disc in the drive.

You can start IMAPI as many times as you like, it automatically switches
itself off!! And no-one seems to have the answer for this...
