IMAP and Personal Folders

Can anyone point me to KB's or White Papers dealing with the issues that come
up when you switch existing email POP3 accounts to IMAP and the problems that
come up with the Personal Folders.

I am having difficulties with certain folders and calendars when I try to
import the old PST file into Outlook 2003 after reloading the PC and using
IMAP afterwards..

Thanks for any and all assistance...

I don't know of any paper dealing with any issues when switching to an IMAP
account. Care to describe them (in detail)?

First, never import a PST. Second, describe the probelm(s). Someone may be
able to help.

I have to get the information back into Outlook, so I don't see a way around
it.

It will not import them all at once as before. I have to go and import
specific folders and I get messages talking about Unicode and information
loss.

Like I said, start Outlook and click File>Open>Outlook Data File. Browse to
a PST, select it, and click OK. You'll now have access to everything it
contains with no import needed.
