Direct my new IMAP emails to my old POP3 Inbox?

I've got years of POP3 emails in my .pst Personal Folders Inbox. I
recently signed up for Gmail IMAP and love it. Outlook created a new
imap.gmail.com Inbox in a new folder. I'd like to have only one Inbox
with my old and new emails in it.
Can I direct my new IMAP emails to my old POP3 Inbox?

Thanks,
Peter

Nope. IMAP and Web mail will always create a new folder tree and will
require a local 'personal folders' be listed. I get the first half and it
makes sense, but the second half always seemed a little odd to me.
