Image resizer power toy

I've had the Image Resizer power toy for years, use it frequently for emails
etc. It has decided to stop working for a reason that I cannot fathom. I've
uninstalled and reinstalled, rebooted after uninstall, rebooted after install
etc. to no avail.
Using Windows XP with all updates installed.
Any ideas what could be wrong?

Solution found, I have no idea what this doea or how it works, but it works.

Click Start then Run. Type in the box (or copy and paste)this:

regsvr32 shimgvw.dll

then type this

regsvr32 %Systemroot%\system32\phototoys.dll

You get a message after each of those steps, then it works again.

It most likely was disabled by the windows hotfix for the wmf exploit, by
reregistering the shimgvw.dll the hot fix disabled you cured your problem.
And no reregistering the dll does not negate the hotfix.
