Image displayed at start-up

Using Win XP Home SP2

An image, which covers the entire screen, has been displayed just prior to
sighing in in the user login window since 5/28/06. Image stays on for about
4 seconds, and then disappears (no error message or text of any type). From
then on, all is normal. Tried to delete, but can't locate this image on the
computer. Ref. User Accounts - Fast Switching...changes there don't seem to
help correct this issue. Would try System restore, but it was off when this
started.

Suggestions?

Thanks, Bud (in Oceanside, Ca.)

If I'm not mistaken, this is the key that controls the pre-login screen,
fonts, ...

HKEY_USERS\.DEFAULT\Control Panel\Desktop

You should see everything there.

TweakUI XP allows you to change the login information, but I have not see
where it allows you to unset.
