I am working on a finished presentation put together by someone else - I'm
cleaning up the rough spots. Some of the pictures that were used in the
presentation were scans that needed cropped. The person that put the
presentation together didn't have image editing capabilities, so they used
the scans as they were. I want to crop the scans that need cropped which are
in the presentation already.
First, I took all the images into PhotoShop and cropped them, thinking that
when I saved the file, it would use the cropped images in place of the ones
originally in the file (I did save another copy of the presentation, just in
case). However, I was wrong and it continues to show the uncropped images.
This isn't such a big deal and I am able to crop most of them with the tools
in PowerPoint, but have come across a problem. On one slide, there are five
images that fly in at different times and more or less cover one another. As
it turns out, the only image that needs cropped on this slide is the first
image that appears and is eventually nearly covered by the other four
images. When I select it, it remains hidden by the other images and the
hidden part is where it needs cropped. How do I isolate this one image on
the slide, so I can see it to crop it?
I really don't want to redo the entire slide if I don't have to since there
are so many things going on in it, and there may be more like this as I go
along. So, as I said, is there anyway to isolate that one image on the slide
(without the others) so I can crop it while I can see it?
Incidentally, I am using MS Powerpoint 2002 w/SP3.
Thanks in advance to anyone who can give me any pointers on this subject!
