I'm trying to run an old version of Mavis Beacon Teaches Typing

And I keep getting kicked off because the first line of the setup.exe is
looking to try for 16 bit processor, how can I get around this? There is a
32 bit dll requested on the second line of the code, but even when I say
"IGNORE"...it just gets shut down.

In case the typing program you are trying to install is not compatible with
WinXP, try the program compatibiltiy wizard:

If that doesn't work, you maty want to invest a few dollars in the later
(incl, XP version - v15 Deluxe)

XP isn't compatibile with 16bit programs from everything

I have been able to read. There does seem to be a work
around at the MS site. If you will just page back
through a couple of days of posts in this newsgroup you
will see reference to the exact site. This is a fairly
regular request of this group.
