about the configuration manager's platform listbox. The choises are:
..NET and ACTIVE(.NET)

What's this about? I can't find it anywhere in the online help.

Hi,

Since you are writting an app that uses the dot net framework its
platform is listed as .net. If you were writting an win32 c++ app it would
list win32.

OK, but of the two .net choises : .NET and ACTIVE(.NET) which should I
pick, or does it not matter?

I only have a ".NET" configuration on my machine (VS.NET 2003 Enterprise
Architect, .NET 1.1 SP1). The display as "Active(.NET)" is slightly
misleading, it only means that ".NET" is the active (selected)
configuration.
