I'm here again!

Just a note to say that I'm back on the NG after being off for a couple
of years with major illnesses.

I had to retire from teaching a little early because of my health and I
have been left with difficulties in remembering proper nouns, (names of
people, places, streets, etc.), so forgive me if I can't recall names.
I'm now using an 80 year old friends line, "there is nothing wrong with
my memory, it's my recall that is flawed!" <vbg>

I just subscribed, downloaded and read 2000 messages and it makes me
feel good that there are so many of the old participants still here.

Regards
Lee in Toronto

make sense. thx.

Welcome back, Lee, and glad you've recovered well!

Right!
A famous Italian writer, Italo Svevo, used to say:
"There are three things I always forget. Names, faces...
.... the third I can't remember."

Yes, you don't remember me, but 3-4 years ago my nickname was malù.

Ciao :-)

Santa Claus wears a Red Suit, he must be a communist.
And a beard and long hair, must be a pacifist.
What's in that pipe that he's smoking? Arlo Guthrie
