Illegal operation in IE

Recently my Internet Exporer has been giving me illegal
operation messages every time I close a window. This
happens whether I use the X in the corner OR go to File-

Close. I have IE 6.0 (Actually in the About IE it says

6.0.2800.1106) I have Windows 98 Plus and 128 M RAM. Any
suggestions would be appreciated.

PS -- It had worked fine until just recently. I have
cleared history, cookies, etc. and Yes, I have done all my
critical updates too!
