IKernel application error

I got the following error message "IKernel.exe application error. The
instruction at "0x771c741a" referenced memory at "0x00163668". The memory
could not be "read". Click on OK to terminate the program." while I was
installing a VPN program to my home computer with Windows XP professional.
Where can I get help to resolved this? How solve the problem?

Another problem, "deterministic enhanced port is not compatible with Windows
XP LOGO". What to do?
