HELP!!!

Several times I have gotten the following error pop up.

The Instruction at "0x771c732a" referenced memory
at "0x00163cd0". The memory could not be "read". Click
on OK to terminate program.

I have no idea what this is or how to get rid of it.
Please help me.

This is an error I am also getting when trying to uninstall a program in the control panel.....when I find the answer I will try to help you...

Your PC may have some faulty RAM, (memory), so run a
diagnostic test on it, and here is a link for one to try;
http://www.tufftest.com/ttp01.htm Also be sure to have in
at least 256 MB of RAM or more for XP to run well.
