iis setup for FP98 local edit

dferris

using winxp, does not give you personal web server to edit
webs locally. How do i set this up and i am usingFront Page
98. I have winxp Pro. Thanks
 
Uninstall FP98, then install IIS under Add/Remove Windows Components. Next
open IIS MMC under Admin Tools, right click on the default web, All tasks
and add the extensions. Then re-install FP98 using the custom install
option, do not select the FP extensions or web server or Admin pages.

And then from FPExplorer, open the web as http://localhost.
