If there's *one* "add-on" thing I want for Vista, it is ....

To have the context-menu user-adjustable as it was with
XP & TweakUI (2.1).

I have browsed high, I have browsed low (Google, Yahoo);
*nothing* has been found to equal the sheer usefulness of
TweakUI.

I'm stuck. And _desperate_. Also pi**ed (!!!). Is there _any_ simple,
known way of user-setting that dang Vista context-menu?

Jon

There are a number of context menus in Vista. Anything in particular you're
trying to achieve?

On the Bridge!

I can do on vista whatever was done on XP

what is that you want specifically?

All TweakUI does is give a GUI interface to particular keys in the registry.
Until a TweakUI for Vista is made, you will have to find the keys you need
to change by searching Google.

I found this for menu-speed:

Vista Manager is an excellent app as well. Basically a 3rd party TweakUI.
Fixes all the issues you mentioned.

No, it doesn't, but I thank you anyways, for the effort.

Perhaps (if I had not already done so, earlier) I should more-precisely
state my desire. What I am looking for is something that will
slow-down/adjust the Vista context-menu upon opening. I wish for that,
and naught but that. So far as I am concerned, _everything_ else
(whether sytem-related or graphic) is, quite simply, eye-candy.

Update: If at first you don't succeed, try rebooting.

While browsing through Google, I had come upon a few sites which offered
various reg-files for Vista, to the extent of increasing (the)
"MenuShowDelay" time. And guess what... they (it) did ... edit-in
"65534", save & close file, add to (the) registry, reboot, and all was
well.

Thank you; everybody, who's put up with me while attempting to solve
this particularly "knotty" problem.
