If I re-install outlook 2003, will I loose all data there now?

I seem to be missing certain components of my Outlook program, for example it
will ot minimize, or auto complete addresses. Can I re-install without
loosing all my addresses and folders?

You should be fine but make a backup copy of your PST file, just in case.

had a similar problem...lost ALL my address book, calendar, etc...don't know
why. but re-installed 2003 and re-loaded data from PDA...NOW my paranoid
self checked to see if I need to download and re-install all the 2003
updates...system says I'm current on all MS products...

Well, I was...current...til I re-loaded...from the original disk I'd
purchased...now, I need HUMAN reassurance and/or information on how MS
verifies the currency of the updates associated with my RE-installed
Outlook...I mean, there were a large number of updates installed over the
last year or two, I think...is XP so smart that it automatically RE-installed
update files, some of which I entered in the file name the date I'd installed
it...

And IF XP/MS Update isn't smart enough to know I'm not current, how the
heck can I download those updates again? I'm SOOOOOOOO confused...

Thanks, Marty...
PS - could you cc: any reply here to me at my (e-mail address removed)
address? Took me 45 minutes of looping to find this page AND even after
signing in, the system wouldn't let me originate a question! aaaaaaaaaaaaagh!
