V
vista terminal ator
I made them work for my yamaha 192XG that is one of this series:
YMF724, YMF740, YMF744, YMF754
it was very tricky and its a bit of a long explaination.. but I did do it
and it woks very well now (if anything can work well in vista that is!).
A short disctripition is this.. download the driver by going here
http://www.yamaha.co.jp/english/product/lsi/us/support/downloads.html
run the installer as administrator (right click on the setup), find the
extracted installer files from the temp files of the user,
then find the new extracted files and run the setup.exe of the extracted
installer with XPSP2 compatibilty mode (right click - propeties), then find
those extracted files again copy them to another location , go to device
manager and update the driver of the sound device and point to the new
location of the extracted drivers...
I know its long and this explaination is for high geekicity but I can make a
tutorial if you people need it
