iexplorer.exe

when internet explorer is opened up all is well. i start
surfing all is well. when i go to close the window in
which internet explorewr is in i click on the x in right
corner window does not close. when i cntrl.-alt.- del.the
taskmanager starts i go to the process tab iexplorer.exe
is maxxed at 100%on cpu useage. i highlight the process
and click end task window shuts . i have a pentium 3 256
meg of ram. is there anything that can be done to stop
this from happening

The first thing to do is to scan your system for the possibility of
unknown\unwanted spyware or parasites that may be causing your problem(s).
