IExplorer.exe error

Every time I try to view a video in MSN video, I get this error:

IExplore.exe has generated an error and will be closed by Windows. You need
to restart the program.

An error is being created.

Has this happened to anyone, and if so, how did you fix it. I have updated
all software required, but still get the error. Suggestions would be great
on how to fix this problem.

"molly",

Go to Start > Find > Files or Folders > search for iexplore.exe > r.c.
any Reponses for identically named files > note their respective
locations.

I have one such file and it is located in C:\Program Files\Internet
Explorer. If I click on it in Explorer it opens Internet Explorer and
is, of course, very necessary.

Now you will want to know how does this help you. Well, I have read in
a post in the last few weeks that if there is another such file it
should be deleted, but I am not sure of that at all and in the meantime
I am trying to find that post. However, I have found this, but go
gently.

Which OS and Browser are you running.
