Why do I get an error....."IExplorer.exe has generated errors and is closed by windows", without ever opening. Says it is sending report.
APPNAME: iexplore.exe
APPVER: 6.0.2800.1106
MODNAME: popupjammer.dll
MODVER: 1.0.0.222
OFFSET: 0006f6af
What can I do to resolve this?

Is it a toolbar which you are using?
http://www.sysinfo.org/bholist.php?filter=&count=50&offset=100

http://www.advancedsearchbar.com/

At your option, I recommend removing the following:
HKCU\..\Run: [PopupJammer] C:\PROGRAM FILES\ADVANCED SEARCHBAR\JAMMER.EXE
Do not try to remove this by using Regedit. If it has an un-installer or is
in Add/remove programs, use that to remove it. Re-boot if necessary.

Google toolbar offers a better free pop-up blocker as a side item to it's
great toolbar search window. If you use the Googltoolbar as an alternative
approach, do not use the advanced features; too complicated with too much
crap, and can get a bit "nosy".

Also as a sidenote, similar, but different: Only use known reputable
products that have a good track record. For Anti-Spyware items for example,

It is an "EARTHLINK" toolbar. The problem started after downloading an upgrade to Earthlink and rebooting. I will try what you have suggested and let you know the outcome. Thanks a bunch.

OK then K-Bob. I'd un-install the Earthlink toolbar and see what results
from that.

LuckyStrike.......you are amazing.......you hit the nail right on the head when you thought my problem was with a program named ADVANCED SEARCHBAR. I had downloaded that program months ago and never really used it so I had closed out of it without deleting the program from my computer and forgot all about it, and sure enough, after uninstalling it, I am once again up and running. The Earthlink toolbar is working just fine now. I can finally stop pulling my hair out over this problem. THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU.
