iexplore doesn't work

[Puter Tutor]

when I double-click the "blue E" the icon to start IE, nothing happens. I have even found the iexplore.exe file and double-clicked it, still nothing.

However my desktop links to internet sites works just fine. I can surf just fine also, just the blue E doesn't work.

Do you have Windows XP SP2?
If so, try this:
click Start, Run and type:

iexplore /rereg

and press Enter.

Did you try scanning your pc for viruses and spywares?
