IE8 default sounds & Vista ... how to disable

The tiny very quite beeb/plunk/clicking "sound" was really getting to me, no mater where you looked in IE8, you couldn't find any sounds control.

Well, it ain't there ... it's part of Vista sounds. :rolleyes:


Go to Start button and type in Sound and you will find it in the list with a sound icon. Click on it & go to the sounds tab, scroll down to Windows Explorer and set sound to none on the likes of Feed Discovered etc.

You know, I forgot this is what we also had to do with IE7 :lol:
