Ie7

I was on vista beta & when came out I updated all & ie7 was amoung them & now
unless I have IE7 open in background if I am useing another program (say
Quicken) & want to go onto web It will not go anywhere & tell me I need to
get IE7 update & when I try it says I am already useing it. I thing it is a
fire wall hold out but do not know- May be IE7???????????????

Hi Morgan

1) You were using a Vista Beta. You "updated" how? Did you format the Beta
while installing Vista RTM?

2) What OS do you have on your box now?

If you have Vista RTM on your box now, run SFC by typing cmd into the search
box above Start Button>then right click the word cmd when it comes up at the
top>click "run as admin">at the cmd prompt type "sfc /scannow" without the
quotes.
