ie7 help

Windows XP media centre.

Hi,Last week or so had a problem with ie7 in so much
that when I launch it now it opens up to my home page
and that about it.
If I click on any links on home page it just freezes up solid,
can't even shut it down without ctrl/alt/del then end now.

Can't uninstall via add and remove,tried a freeware uninstaller,
no go.
Have tried reinstalling ie 7 over the top with no luck.

So is there a way I can uninstall /// reinstall ie 7 please.
Am also useing latest firefox and also have chome installed.

Tend to use Firefox a lot as it's faster,but also want ie7 useable.
