i went to the microsoft internet explorer newsgroups, but cannot find a
section for ie7, so im posting here on ie6 section:
i hope microsoft can implement a shortcut key that allows me to pause all
animating gifs on the webpage from moving. so that when i want to read an
advertisement using animated gif, i have time to do so.
thank you!

Hi LL,

Most animations (advertisements) on web pages these days are Flash
animations, not 'gifs'.
You can pause the Flash advertisements so that you can read them by
right-clicking on them and selecting the 'Pause' option from the drop-down
menu.

Regards.
