IE7 child windows do not maximise

Since installing the latest update of IE7, despite my having the
Properties set to Maximised, child windows do not open full-screen.
Can anyone suggest a cure?

I believe it gets its information from the window that was closed last before
the next one opens. So if you close out all your windows except one, then
maximize that last ie7 window then close it. All of your next windows should
be maximized. Good Luck-HTH,

Close all IE windows except the one you want to enlarge.
Move your mouse pointer to one of the corners of the window so
it turns into a double sided arrow.
Click and hold down the left mouse button.
Drag this corner to the edge of your monitor.
Do this for each side until the window is maximized.
Close the window by going to File -> Exit.
Open IE and see if new windows open to the size you want.

If this doesn't solve your problem, you might want to post your
question to the IE7 newsgroup.

Good luck

Thank you. I'm off to try my luck there.
