IE6

[WhoCares]

Has anyone yet found a fix to allow us to use IE6 with Vista? I can
hardly wait for them to do this so I can start using Vista. I despise
IE7 and its entire look and feel. As soon as the hack for (IMHO) the
far superior IE6 comes out I can install this copy of Vista that is just
sitting here on my shelf going to waste!

why not use a "shell" for IE that you can customize to your liking?

I personally like avant www.avantbrowser.com
but there is maxthon , version 1.x is a lot like the ie6 if you adjust its
interface and now there is maxthon 2.
but there are many other such shells that only use the underlying IE7
trident rendering engine.

you can even use firefox with the IE engine with an add on called IE tab.

I have seen "no-install" versions of internet explorer 6 that run in
"partial" mode...

I have tried them myself but they are do not work 100% correctly.

meaning that they are not perfect but they do run along side of IE7

or ie7
that you can run in virtual pc to test your websites.

or VM WareWorkstation on Windows Vista.

If I wante dto use them I would be using them. There are just as horrid
as IE7 (especially that Bullshit firefox crap).
