IE6 Window Problem

Every time I got to File-New Window it closes the window I'm working in.
What setting do I have to change to get multiple windows working again?
 
in IE click tools/internet options/advanced
Scroll down and select/unselect "Reuse windows for
launching shortcuts"
Good luck !
 
I did this and it is still not working. Is there somewhere else that could
be the problem?
