IE6 only works in Safe Mode

My IE6 SP1 has stopped working in normal mode (Win XP) but works fine in
Safe mode. I am running anti-virus software.

All that it does in standard mode is open up and goes to the Home Page. If I
then try to go to a web page it either does nothing or the hour glass comes
up and it freezes. Any ideas??? Thanks - Steve B.
