IE6 Online Crash Analysis cites Smartpops?

Hi,
IE6 crashes on a daily basis. Error reports submitted to
Microsoft. Now, an Online Crash Analysis reply is often
returned to me. It suggests the likely cause to
be 'Smatpops Network Essentials' and guides me to the
Smartpops website - which contains an uninstall procedure
for their product.
But I cannot find their product on my system. I didn't
know I had it, I don't even know what it is!
Any advice or suggestions gratefully received.
