IE6 new window does not display

I have IE6 on my win98SE and Win2000 and this problem
exists on both machines. When I am browsing the internet on
IE6 and click on a link that opens a new browser window,
the new window looks like it is opening but does not
display anything; the new window just has a frame and
nothing in the middle. The window acts as if it is frozen.

Any thoughts?

Version: 6.0.2800.1106IC
Updated versions: SP1
