IE6 is not running java applet

Hi,

I am trying to run an applet on win xp professional
on ie 6 but it is not running I have enabled
all VM options in tools>internet options>advanced and I
have set security to medium.

while it is running on netscape on same platform

MS no longer supports Java and there are so many safety issues left unsolved that it is NOT recommended.
