IE6 is not openning any web sites!

The IE6 closes up (disapears) after a few second of trying to download a page
(as it states in the status bar), and then the file download dialog box and
on top of that the error message box pops-up. When I click on OK on th error
dialog box, both of the dialog boxes disapears.

After IE crashes, it shows an error message that reads:

Internet Explorer cannot download / from www.msn.com.
Internet Expleorer was mot able to opwn this Internet site. The requested
site is either unavailable or cannot be found. Please try again.

I have WinXP with SP2 installed.

Interestingly enough, Firefox browser is working fine. But not sufficient
for me since some of the websites I need to use requires IE.

Any ideas?

Thank you,

Dursun

That's our first answer because it is by far the most common cause.

Where did you post your HijackThis Log for expert analysis?
