All, this happened straight after I discovered a trojan in my system and I am fastidious about updating my virus definitions. I personallyt think after reading many cases with the same problem that this is something new that attacks iexplorer. If anyone has a sugestion please let me know asap please!!!

I agree with you. Like you I am very careful and run AVG anti-virus and
ZoneAlarm. I also run anti-spyware every day.
Mart

I had the same problem, too. I ran CWShredder last night
(Thursday) and it took care of it. CWShredder is updated
frequently so you may want to try it.

New parasites are created every day.
Make sure you have all the security updates.

Note that AdAware and SpyBot S & D will each catch some things the other
won't. Also, each needs to be updated before every use, even when just
downloaded. There's also a lot more to do than just those two programs.
CWShredder is also available here:

**Post your HijackThis log to
http://forums.spywareinfo.com/ or the Spyware forum at
http://forum.aumha.org/ for expert analysis, not here.**
Alternative download pages for Ad-Aware, Spybot, HijackThis and CWShredder
may be found on this page:
http://aumha.org/a/parasite.htm.
If trying everything at that site does not fix the problem please post back
in the same thread.
