"IE6 encountered a problem"

Joe

When I go to ONE website I get the message "Internet
Explorer has encountered a problem and needs to close".
This does not happen at any other website. I tried
removing IE6 from my computer, and then downloaded it
again, but this did not help.

So we are supposed to *guess* at the ONE web site that causes the
problem out of the millions that exist? Obviously you don't want anyone
to know what IS the web site of concern (so they could test if the same
problem occurs for them and determine what might be causing it).

How do you know that ONE web site is actually viewable using IE? Web
sites can be tailored to features within specific browsers, so maybe
THAT web site choose to optimize for some other browser and uses
features that are not supported in IE. Have you contacted
webmaster@domain to ask if their web site is viewable and fully usable
by IE users?
