IE6 HANGS WHEN TRYING TO OPEN A GRAPHIC

My IE 6 will hang (not respond) when I am trying to open a graphic file (eg.
when I am about to upload it to a server). It only happens to some graphic
files and ONLY to graphic files. I have alot of graphics in a folder and only
some are affected. The rest work just fine. Thanks in advance!

Hi,

What is the extension of the affected files? If it is WMF (and you are the
only one that can tell us), chances are you applied some kind of homemade
patch for the WMF bug (and again, you are the only one that can tell).

They are in *gif, *jpg and *png format.

Yes i am also having the same problem. Seems that whatever browser i
use the filepicker hangs for about a mintue or two. I tried system
restore to a date before this happened but it told me i didn't change
anything.
