Jagged Display of Graphics In IE6

On my new computer (Dell M65 laptop) all graphics appears jagged as if they
were blown up from a smaller size without resampling, only in Internet
Explorer. It happens with all web pages containing graphics. If I open the
same web page using Word, they look fine. All graphics in all other programs
are fine. The text looks fine. I'm using an external monitor with 1600x1200
native resolution and I have the resolution set to 1600x1200 in the display
properties. I tried all the IE setup options I could think of and nothing
helped. Any suggestions?

Turn off your dial-up Web accelerator.
