can't safe jpgs in IE6

Hi.
On a computer running win xp pro, I have the following problem with
IE6. Whenever
I try to save a jpg graphic from the web, I can only safe it as a bmp
file.
Does anyone know how to resolve this issue and restore the ability to
safe the graphics
as jpg files? I've tried removing all temporary internet files, but
that didn't make any difference.

If you access the .jpg file like this, it would not not recognized as a .jpg
file.
http://www.abcdefg.com/hijk.jpg?lmn=opq
Remove "?lmn=opq", try again.

No, it was just graphics at regular links like
http://www.internet.com/somegraphic.jpg that would not safe as a jpg
(only as a bmp). But the issue has been resolved now (once I moved my
temporary internet files folder).

Ah ok, so for some mysterious reason, IE was unable to put it in the
temp internet files
folder and that's why I was unable to save it as a jpg. Anyway, now
that I've moved the temp internet files folder, things are working
properly again.
