IE6 - Issue with saving graphics to file

G

Gary Lee

I use IE6 on an XP computer. Unlike the computer at my office, the computer
at home only offers me the option of saving graphics files to bmp files. At
the office I am given the choice of bmp or jpg. Since jpg files take less
space, I would prefer to save to that file format.

I don't need it very often, but when I do, it's a waste of space to use the
bmp format when all I really need is a jpg quality graphic.

Any idea how I can get the computer at home to offer me both choices?

Hi Gary,

Re the computer at home, empty the TIF folder (C:\WINDOWS\Temporary Internet
Files). That usually does the trick.

Good Luck.
