IE6 for XP; spyware detected

Spyblocs was downloaded from a website and installed
spyware to the system. Spyware causes IE to run slow and
changes the homepage as well as cause spyware pop-ups. I
think the registry files were tampered with, and programs
such as ad-aware do not fix the problem. I tried
reinstalling IE6 and re-installing windows itself but
neither has worked. Virus checkers do not work either.

Is there anyway to COMPLETELY remove IE6 including
registry files entirely off my system? (control panel
add/remove software "internet explorer" hasn't worked
either)

OR do I need to completely reghost the machine?
